Last Tree in the City was finalized
after visiting a local horse stable. It was shocking to find stately oak trees
being uprooted, barns leveled and arenas removed. Nearby, earth movers noisily
roamed the dusty hillsides of the rapidly disappearing tree shaded land. Disappearing
open space is a well-known theme as cities reach farther out to accommodate
growing populations.
